Backset contemporary romance novella cover

Backset: Bourbonland Short Stories and Novellas 3

A beautiful estate.

A princess-like gown.

Glittering, priceless gifts.

A fairytale… but with a mystery at the edges.

Follow Milla and Leo as they prepare for their upcoming wedding at Riverheart, Leo’s sprawling estate. As they finish their respective pre-wedding to-do lists, they encounter two very different individuals: Senator Coraleigh Boyle and Clay London.

Senator Boyle comes to Milla’s rescue when her wedding dress is destroyed, helping her find a new boutique and avoiding a potential disaster. Meanwhile, Leo runs into Clay at a jeweler, where they both happen to be shopping for special gifts. Leo is buying gifts for Milla, while Clay is purchasing exquisite pieces for his own special someone.

While Milla and Leo both know about the old political feud between the Boyles and Londons, they certainly don’t know Coraleigh and Clay’s secret history. But an observant newlywed couple can’t deny the very real evidence of something going on between their friends.
